Is that what an artichoke looks like in it's natural habitat?! Cool.... We may be at opposite ends of the healthy spectrum today! LOL

It is!! We haven't had one for dinner yet. In their own right I am sure they are considered healthy, however, we like to dip them in mayo or butter. Ha! Great ice cream shot!!

Welcome

I appreciate great photography. I am a novice, but I want to grow. As with all things, growth occurs with practice.

Starting January 1, 2012, this site will document my growth over a year. My January Challenge will be Black and White and I hope to find some folks who will join me. I am hoping that we can critique each other's work in a friendly, yet honest forum. My hope is that each of these themes will push me into a different area of photography and hopefully, you too!

My aim is to keep it simple. I will post my daily picture and folks can leave theirs with a link in the comment section.
